Hotels near Girona Airport. Is there any hotel in Girona?

First of all, you should take a look to the map and see if you really need to sleep close to Barcelona-Girona Airport. This airport is situated in Fornells de la Selva, a tiny village in the middle of nowhere. However, there are some hotels in this village and also in Girona.

In our opinion, we could recommend 3 options for those that need to sleep in a hotel close to Girona airport for any reason:

Option 1: Need a hotel really close to the Aiprort

As explained, Girona airport is in Vilobi d'Onyar. There are 3 Girona Hotels close to the airport:

Option 2: Going or coming from BARCELONA

If your trip pourpose is to go to Barcelona city, or you are going back to your country and you have spent some days in Barcelona, we would recommend to stay the night in a Barcelona city hotel instead of going to any Girona hotel. There are plenty of good and affordable hotels and hostels much more cheaper than those hotels in Girona Airport.

We recommend to have a hotel near the bus station (Estació del Nord) where you will arrive to Barcelona.

Option 3: Sleep in Girona City. Move to the city and find a Hotel in Girona


Why not spent one night in one of the most beautiful small cities of Spain? Girona City is around 20 minutes from the airport and could be really worth to spend half of a day in the beautiful Old Quarter, or just walking on the ancien walls, dated from Romans, II b.c.
